Lopez Village North, Housing Lopez

Housing Lopez’s Lopez Village North is a fifteen-unit affordable rental development located in Lopez Village on Lopez Island currently under construction. These fifteen units are the first phase of a multi-phase affordable housing development on a 9.8-acre site located in the heart of Lopez close to services, grocery stores, restaurants, and local medical care.

Construction of the first phase of Lopez Village North is expected to be completed in 2025. The fifteen units will include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. This project is Housing Lopez’s second project that takes advantage of modular units built by Method Homes. The units are built off site and then placed on pre-prepared foundations. Design includes well insulated sustainable home with triple pane windows, engineered wood floors, custom cabinetry, energy efficient appliances. All other units are adaptable to meet most ADA accessibility and support requirements.

These units will serve low-income working families, seniors, people experiencing homelessness and those with special needs. Once all phases of the project are complete, the site could provide up to 45 units of affordable housing.
